• Builder.com - a great resource for the beginning to advanced HTML'er. Topics range from frames, tables to "stupid web tricks."
• Author Linda Weinman's Site - it's a little sparse since most of her best content is published in her books, but check out the great article on Web Safe/Browser Safe colors. It's also got downloads and discussions.
• Web Monkey - this monkey won't put a wrench in your site. Web Monkey has tutorials and articles. Their writer's use of metaphor and similie are great. See their advice on how to use frames

Check local libraries for magazines and books; this is an easy and cost-effective method of finding out if you like a book or visit your friendly bookstore. If buying, try places such as:
